My Family

This summer my family was finally all together and we had our picture taken outside our home. My oldest son Austin, is married to Casey and they have 2 children...Ava and Garrett. My middle and tallest son is married to Brittany and their baby girl, Aubrey is there first and only child so far. My son, Aaron is not married yet. It was a very hot summer July day and boy was it tough to get everyone to look at the camera..a chore for sure.

My Grandchildren

My grandchildren are my pride and joy.  I dearly love my 3 sons and had so much fun raising them...but grandchildren are a whole different story...maybe it is because I'm older and more relaxed and absolutely a great deal wiser than I was when I was raising my own children.  Ava is going to be 7 in September and she will begin First Grade at JWW this Fall.  Garrett is 4 and loves trains.  I spend time with them as much as I can and one of our favorite things to do is to get ice cream!! Yum yum! This summer was especially fun because I was not only their "MiMi" but I was also their babysitter since their mom and dad both work. We had a great time together learning, playing, and doing some fun activities like the summer reading program at the library. Be sure to catch the slide show of our summer. I'm thrilled to have another grandchild in Ohio but am unable to spend as much time with her as I'd like due to the distance. Ava helped me babysit this summer on a little trip to Ohio and it was so much fun.
